Pierced cocks aren't for every one, and I have to admit that I'm not sure I'd want to be married to a man with a pierced cock. But every once in a while I sure don't mind stuffing one down my throat. Body piercing isn't a new phenomena, in fact, people have been piercing parts of their bodies for centuries. Most common are ear piercings, and it was often a sign of a slave in Biblical times. Nose piercing has been common in India since the 16th century. And Mesoamericans are known to have worn jewellry in their noses, ears, and lips. Although not common, there is some evidence to prove that nipple piercing was practiced in 19th and early 20th century Europe. Although ear piercing has existed for centuries in North America, it was fairly uncommon in the United States until the 1960s when it regained popularity amongst women. It was simultaneously adopted by both the hippie and gay communities. In the 1970s and early 1980s, a male pierced ear was sometimes thought to signal that a man was gay, but there was a great deal of confusion as to which ear meant gay and which one meant straight. In one city it was the left ear, in another it was the right.

In the 1970s body piercing began becoming popular with the gay BDSM communities and in 1975, Jim Ward opened The Gauntlet, America's first storefront body piercing operation, in Los Angeles. And while facial piercing is quite popular, it's still considered by many as inappropriate. There are a number of different kinds of gential or cock piercings, and you'll see a few of them here. The ampallang involves piercing the glans penis from one side to the other. If the piercing passed through the urethra, it is called a transurethral piercing. A variant of this cock piercing is the shaft ampallang, and it penetrates the shaft of the penis horizontally at any point along its length. An Apadravya pierces the glans penis vertically. A dydoe pierces the ridge of cock and is normally done with circumcized cocks. More than one dydoe on a single cock is sometimes referred to as a king's crown. Piercing the underside of the cock's shaft is called a frenum piercing and multiple frenums up the shaft of cock is called a frenum ladder. A guiche is a piercing placed between the testicles and the ass hole, and is more common in men than women.

The Prince Albert piercing or PA is a fairly common form of male genital piercing involving piercing the penis from the outside of the frenulum and into the urethra. A reverse Prince Albert piercing enters through the urethra and exits through a piercing in the top of the glans or cock head. It is widely suggested that the piercing was named for Prince Albert, who was Queen Victoria's consort. And It is further alleged that he wore the ring to strap his penis to his thigh to create a more smooth line in tight trousers that were in fashion at the time. However, this claim has never been substantiated. A lorum is a male genital piercing, placed horizontally on the underside of the penis at its base, where the penis meets the scrotum. And it's also possible to pierce foreskin.
